Do you limit the amount of mails I can send per hour?
Yes, we do. The amount of mails sent per hour is limited to 1500 per user. We do this to minimize the impact of spammers who may sign up with us and get by our initial checks.

Once you've hit this limit, mail will bounce with the 'unrouteable domain' error in the bounce message. The only way around this error is to wait until the hour is up.

Do you offer any anti-virus protection for emails?
Yes, we do. This comes automatically with our mail system and requires nothing from you to make it work. All incoming and outgoing emails are scanned for viruses.

I can receive mail, but I cannot send it. Can you tell me what's wrong?
This problem has a number of common causes. Generally, unless you've received an announcement from us that mail isn't working properly at the time you're having difficulty, chances are it is one of those common issues.

ISPs often block the outgoing mail port in an effort to force their users to use their own email servers. They sometimes do this without warning and sometimes even intermittently.

For this problem, we run SMTP on port 26, as well as port 25. This way, you can still use our servers for sending email even if your ISP is blocking port 25.

If your ISP isn't the cause of your problem sending, you may not have authentication turned on in your email client. Not having authentication turned on can cause email to work fine one day and suddenly stop working the next. If you turn on authentication, you should see the problem disappear.

If neither of these solutions works for you, please open a ticket and we will gladly take a look at the problem.

I'm getting an 'unrouteable mail domain' message when I send email. What's wrong?
This error most often indicates that you have reached our limit for sending mail for the given hour. Mails are limited to 1500 per hour per user.

This limit is in place to curb any spam attacks that might take place on our servers. We don't have this limit in place to inconvenience you, but rather to protect us all from the very pervasive problem of spam.

Is there a secure https login for Webmail?
Yes, there is. Try: https://www.domain.com:2096
or https://server.hostname.com:2096

You may get a warning message, but this is normal. The transferred data is still encrypted with 128 bit encryption in spite of the warning.

My email isn't working, please help
Here are some solutions to common email problems that will save you some stress with email.

1. Always double check your password
2. the username would be email@domain.com
3. smtp and pop3 = mail.domain.com or the IP assigned to you in your setup email
4. make sure SSL / Secured Socket Layer option is not selected
5) Make sure 'my server requires authentication' is CHECKED.

If the above is right proceed to check if actually the email is created in cpanel
(yes, it's true people sometimes miss this oddly .. hehe)

If these don't help:

Login to webmail, check if you can receive and send emails from there. If yes, and your email was working right before, then the problem is either with your ISP or your client is not properly setup. Please double check the first group of solutions to make sure the client is properly setup.
Yes, it is possible that your client setup that worked yesterday might stop working today and need a little tweak. I know it sounds weird, but it does happen.

If you are unable to send/receive mail with Webmail, please open a ticket and we will look and see what's going on. Make sure you include all relevant information AND any applicable error messages.

My ISP blocks port 25. Can I still use your SMTP server to send mail?
Yes, you can. Please try changing the port for SMTP in your mail client to port 26.

The Spam Assassin SpamBox
In order to view the spam directory, login to webmail (yourdomain.com/webmail/) as the main account username and with the main account password.
Then, select Horde to view your webmail.
Once inside Horde, click on 'mail'.
Then, in the upper right hand corner, you'll see a dropdown box. In there, the spam folder should be present. If it isn't, don't worry. It isn't created until the first piece of spam is routed to that folder, so it may not have shown up yet.

What email clients can I use for my email accounts?
You can use pretty much any mail client you like with our mail service. Clients such as Eudora, Outlook, and Outlook Express are the most popular.

What is my POP3 server?

What is my SMTP Server?
