Can I view my site before propagation is finished? Yes you can. By using the urls in your Welcome Email, you should be able to access your website without a problem.

The URL should look something like this: http://server.hostname.com/~username/

Do you support ASP? No we don't. We find that ASP is best suited to a Windows hosting environment. We only run Linux servers here, so we recommend PHP for all of your scripting language needs.

How do I access Cpanel? In your Welcome email, we describe one method of reaching cpanel. This can always be done by going to: http://server.hostname.com/cpanel/ (the actual server hostname will be found in your welcome email).

After your domain propagates to our server, you can reach your Cpanel by going to: http://yourdomain.com/cpanel/

Propagation takes up to 24-48 hours for your domain to resolve.

How do I upload and edit my files? You can upload your files using ftp or Just use the username and password in your Welcome email, as you connect to either the IP address in your setup email, or ftp.yourdomain.com .

What is a parked domain? A parked domain name is an additional domain name that leads to the same place as the main domain name for your account.

For instance, if you had domain.com and wanted domain.net to lead to the same place, you would park domain.net on domain.com.

You can park a domain in Cpanel under the 'manage parked domains' link.

What is CPanel? CPanel is an extremely powerful, web based control panel. Cpanel provides a point and click interface to complicated system tasks, so even new users are able to control their hosting experience. Cpanel allows you to manage almost every aspect of your hosting account.

With CPanel, you'll be able to add/remove email accounts, FTP, backups, files, CGI scripts, web-based statistics, and much more.

What is my absolute path? Your absolute path is the same as what we refer to as your 'path to public_html'.

It is: /home/username/public_html This is the same on all accounts.

What is the difference between www and public_html? There is no difference between the two. The actual directory that you place your web files in is public_html, but www is a symbolic link (like a Windows shortcut) that points to the same place.

What is the path to my public_html? The path to your public_html is /home/username/public_html

When will my account be activated? Your account will be setup and activated instantly as soon as the payment is done.

Where do I put my webpages and files? Webpages and files go in the directory called 'public_html'. Anything you place in this directory will be accessable from the web.

Where do I upload my files? All files should be uploaded to the folder called 'public_html'.
